Video: The Rolex Explorer 39 is BETTER Than the 40ā¦ Change my Mind
Added 2024-01-06 11:06:52 +0000 UTCOk! So! A few weeks ago I had every Rolex Explorer under the sun! š¤£ I had the 36mm, 39mm (mk2) aaaand the 40mm! Now I did a current catalogue comparison with the 40 vs 36. But now.. itās time for ultimate geekery! The Explorer 39mm vs 40mm!! š¤£š¤£š¤£ NOOOOW, Iāve spent way too long measuring these, remeasuring, STAAAAARING AT THESE! I donāt think I want to see the explorer ever again! š¤£š¤£ BUT HERE IS WHY I love the 39mm over the 40!

Wait, that's crazy, the 39 does look significantly bigger pinned back. That is so interesting and shows how much the dimensions matter and how they are laid out. I think the dial actually looks bigger at certain angles. Fun video! Also wanted to say that this videography is really good as usual. I feel like it shows what watches actually look like much better than a lot of photography. I never really cared that much for the Explorer looking at the Rolex site, but seeing them here I think they look great. I'm sure they look great in person.
