The animation is finished, just looking to see where I can host the animation for public release now. I might do rule34video or something to host this animation since I notice a lot of lengthy nsfw content on there as well.
Release date?
Got a trailer ready to reveal all that soon. Ideally, I wanna post it in the next few days. Gonna try and post the full animation here on Patreon first after the trailer release date, but who knows what leakers will do once I announce it. Kind of kills the hype for me honestly.
There's a chance Patreon staff might take my account down because of this animation but its worth it. I haven't felt safe with Patreon for years now. I know y'all got my back if I have to move ❤️
The absurd platform fees alone on this site is taxing enough.
Jenny's VA livestream?
She's on vacation so she won't be able to livestream it before its released. She might do a react stream to the animation when she gets back I'm not sure.
Why isn't the video out yet?
I have a mixed bag of a community that half wants me to take care of my mental health and not rush things (figuring that out) while the other half wants the animation out asap. I've never dealt with a loss of something so close to me before so its been really hard for me to put my focus into tweaking the finishing touches or post anything, really. I'm kinda doing that numb thing but trying to be active with an update idk how to explain it.
Without context its easy to assume what the user might be doing, but I don't have any ill-intentions, just depressed about a lot of things happening over here on top of my dog passing. I'm glad the animation is finally finished, but yeah, bad timing is all. (Twitter link)
What's next for you?
Well, after this animation I want to get away and focus on rebuilding connections with my friends, family, etc. for being distant while working on this project. It was pretty taxing on all levels for me so I want to get a chance to breathe/ get my life back without this project looming over my shoulder, per say.
I've been wanting to transition to Blender as well after this animation. I've been wanting to branch out of Minecraft-themed content for a while now and start doing neat stuff in there and start doing my own thing. Idk if that would tarnish my image of being that one animator, but I really want to do more with my characters, build on them, get more advanced rigs, do more intimate stuff, world build, cinematics, etc. Mine-imator can only get me so far with its limited tools.

I wanna thank those that have been SO patient with me over the years and still supporting me to this day, you guys have helped so much. Idk how to put it into words, but you guys are genuinely amazing people to support creators like me. I never would've imagined being where I'm at now thanks to you guys. I think of this whole project as another stepping stone in my art career to keep making stuff, just in a rough spot right now. Thanks for reading if you did.

Listen if you believe this community has got your back and trusts you, then you have the right to do what you decide is best. I know first hand what it’s like to be flooded with work and still feel like you have to get everything done as soon as possible, sadly this doesn’t work. Your work will become sloppy and your creations will look terrible. My best advice is you should take a long DESERVED break because yea, you do deserve one. This entire project has had its ups and downs from almost cutting out the entire section with the ender dragon, to having you become so overwhelmed with work that you had to take a mid project break. I’m sure people like me and the rest of these horny guys can wait a bit longer for the release while you take your much needed break. You are an amazing animator and I’m glad I get to see these animations and watch these projects grow and become something beautiful and grand! Take your break and as me and my community likes to say: “KEEP YOUR FIRES BURNING!!”

If you branch out into other different series to animate or maybe even your own animated series, that is fine to me, branch out, explore, gain new skills as you test things and learn. I think it would be nice if that is the plan, that in the future you do make a few returns to MC animations but continue your explorative journey. As for your time to rebuild connections with family and friends after this project? Go for it! You are a human like many of us are. Humans aren’t perfect, we can always come close but we are never perfect. You need rest to rebuild your connections from focusing so much into your work. There is a thing some have told me. You can either focus and on your friends and family and not progress your career, or you can focus entirely on your career and not have a good relationship with your friends and family. However, people can always strive to find their balance between the two. If you need to swap between work and your life outside of this work, then go for it. I would support you on this decision. Even if content wasn’t rolling out and updates aren’t often I would still pay to support you. You are a skilled animator that should be funded to further your potential while allowing you the freedom you need so you don’t burnout or worry too much. This is probably one of the very few messages I make in your Patreon posts, but I will say, I wish you great success.

2024-06-28 20:31:18 +0000 UTCAs someone who has seen many artists go through this very thing when working on LENGTHY videos, I have to say, a full length 40 minute animation is SO rare. I can not imagine the weight that has been lifted off your shoulders. I'm just a fan, but I would recommend shorter videos in the future. It's better for you and the community, as you said, half of the community wants stuff out ASAP and the other half are looking out for your mental health. The shorter length format is great for both of those. As far as transitioning from minecraft to other subjects goes, as long as you are dedicated and motivated by your craft (animation) it shouldn't matter what characters are on the screen, everyone will love it!
