JOA5 Progress Update (Warden scene)
Added 2024-03-09 03:45:47 +0000 UTCI'm about finished with the Warden encounter! I'm at the part where the chicken gets the Warden's attention now. So... roughly 70-80% of the animation is complete now! I want to do some color grading/visual tweaks to some shots afterwards but yeah that's on the to-do list as well
I sent the parts over to Lizzy to do her VA work on it, so when that comes back I can say the Warden scene will be officially done with! One more encounter to go. It's a really good feeling seeing this whole project coming together! I can see the finish line from here
If you guys ever have any questions drop a question in the comments and I'll respond to them! Don't ask me for a release date though, I'm close to completion, but I don't wanna push it with a deadline. We all know how game companies like that have been these days. I do have something at the end of this animation I'm hyped to show off though. More about that when I'm closer to completion 👀

I'm almost done with the SOUND editing portion of it (oops) I still have some post fx and end credits I want to add, but that shouldn't take too long afterwards with what I have in mind. I haven't started on the final scene yet, but after that portal sequence is when the last encounter begins, which is where I'm at now Once my VA has the audio for the warden segment I'll be all caught up (sfx-wise) before the dragon scene

Gonna keep this somewhat short but I have 2/3 positions done for the dragon scene, then the short ending clip afterwards, end credits (w/ some surprises there too), then after that I'm done with the sound editing (FINALLY). I'll then move onto visual tweaks while I wait for my VA to get me the Warden/Dragon scene moans I need. Idk what else I'd post other than this block if I'm being honest 🤷

Not including ending credits and post FX Waiting on my VA for the Warden segment, then the dragon scene when I'm ready to send that over, some art commissions as well, etc. It's just me doing all the editing for this 👍

I didn't intend on the animation to get this big, but I wanted this one to be my largest project yet! Might've went overboard a little Overall, I'm extremely pleased and felt like the struggle was worth it with everyone's feedback and support on this animation. I don't recommend doing this ever unless you're absolutely determined tho

Would like to get some sort of recording mic for outdoor foley sounds someday but didn't wanna go THAT much in for the sound work in this
