2022/07/24 Ork WIP.

I'm working on the lower half of the ork.
The work is going fast and smoothly.
Maybe it'll be almost done after I've worked on the bottom stones.
We all seem to feel that the left arm of this ork is quite unnatural or empty. Aerthod and Adam M gave good opinions and examples, but I'm looking for another way instead of making another body on her shoulder because it's going to be time-consuming a lot...
What was originally intended was a warcry pose. Maybe I should adjust the position of her arm and make it more natural.

I think a knife would look nice in her empty hand. An axe and a knife (blade downwards) would suit her spiked boot as an ultimately aggressive warrior (you hook enemies weapon/shield with either weapon and hack with the other). Her fist's pose is already close to one holding a knife. Also thanks for the civilized axe version. I'm a big fan of both this axe shape and civilized orks in general.

2022-07-27 22:00:31 +0000 UTCYou could also do a severed head dangling from the left hand. Maybe use one of the heads from a former figure you've made so you'd only have to work on the hair and neck of it
