This is the year it all happens.
I can't deny how much I want it. The flushing cheeks, the stretching clothes, the double-takes, the nudge of fat on fat. This is the year I become so obese my friends don't recognize me. I want to concern myself, I want to realize that I can't stop. I want to maybe want to stop a little, because I'm having a hard time handling how horribly, mortifyingly fat I'm becoming. I want to recoil from what I see in the mirror, ache for my attractive days, then reach down and take a handful so tender and heavy that my rational mind shorts out and then I come to, hours later, eating and eating and eating.
