About the rework
Added 2026-01-30 07:39:14 +0000 UTCIf Katarin or Miao Ying is selected in the next roulette, I will likely proceed with a rework of the previous piece. What do you all think? Are you in favor of a rework, or would you prefer a continuation of the story instead?
And if you would prefer a rework, would you like me to refine the existing story while keeping it largely the same, or would you prefer it to move in a completely new direction? For example, I could shift the focus of Miao Ying’s Empire or diplomatic storyline with the Ogres more toward Cathay, Slaanesh, or even an entirely different faction.

Standalone, Miao story is somewhat finished so adding more side stories with other characters would be good. Katarin though I think needs continuation - maybe getting her back to Kislev and having her slutify/take back the country and interact more with the empire/dwarves would be cool.

2026-01-30 13:26:18 +0000 UTCFor me, the best episode of Miao was 2 and 10, there was a brand process in 2 which is I like most, and 10 was a ahego expression in it, I like ahego you make for them :). But for the rest episode, I would think keep it largely the same would be better.

If that direction didn’t appeal to you, that’s understandable — I don’t think it’s possible to satisfy everyone perfectly with every story. The direction I’m aiming for is to position Miao Ying as a kind of “host of corruption” across the broader Warhammer setting. After corrupting the Empire, she would travel from place to place, encountering other legendary lords and gradually amplifying her corrupting influence. I also plan to connect her story with Katarin’s. From the beginning, Miao Ying’s daughter appeared multiple times as a narrative device to link the two characters. However, I believe Katarin’s corruption arc needs at least one more episode of development before properly intertwining their stories. Once Katarin’s storyline is more fully established, I intend to move forward with a collaborative crossover.

If the Ogre section is not removed and the existing Ogre storyline is remade as it is, then additional scenes and subtitle-driven storytelling will be added, so you can think of it as an overall enhancement rather than a replacement.

However, Miao Ying’s storyline follows a single main narrative path, so that approach isn’t really possible. Also, the rework will mainly focus on sections that were not extended beyond 32 chapters and that do not yet have subtitles — those parts will be remade.
