Long winded again! Minkyun has improved a ton, but no I think back then that performance was just not good. The ranking never made sense to me. π€·ββοΈ Yeah the pairing mission where itβs 1 vs 1 doesnβt make sense. It would have perhaps if teams competed against other teams. I think Mnet went off of Show me the money and for a show like that where thereβs one winner itβs fine but it doesnβt really make sense for trying to create a group. My opinion on Shownu and Kihyunβs one - I think the track of the song they used was really not great or at least it sounds that way on the recording. Their teamwork actually was good in the sense that they compromised and tried to find a solution that worked for each other (I think it was a good song choice, bad track), but the execution failed because they compromised TOO much with each other, especially Shownu because bless him heβs Shownu and he made the dance easier than he should have. The judges told Kihyun he needed to show off essentially and he tried to implement that feedback (even if it was feedback that didnβt make sense to me), so I did agree with their decision there but iirc they said they got yelled at for a bit thatβs not shown which if so to me is too much.
