2025-09-21 02:57:18 +0000 UTCwhile i love all of florence’s albums, and have listened and loved, this was never one that i felt called to, necessarily. your insights definitely helped me delve deeper into the album and appreciate it much more. it is absolutely an amazing album and how it’s paced and pieced together. i suppose i don’t fully resonate or relate (i’ve never dated/had a significant other) i feel like ‘st jude’ is one i’ve often went back to because it is SUCH a gorgeous song - sonically, lyrically and melodically. and relistening to this album, almost with new ears, has given me a new life with this album. i’m ready to experience ‘the odyssey’ with you! (if i’ve watched it fully it must’ve only been once bc i don’t remember much) but the next album, ‘high as hope’ is truly one of my most absolute cherished albums, ever. i’m SO excited and ready for you to hear it.
