Thank you so so much for listening to Lorde! I won't go into too much detail if you're doing a deep dive (the thought is exciting!) but I just wanted to give a tiny bit of insight about Ribs and Pure Heroine and how it kinda changed and shaped the pop scene for a lot of artists for years to come. She was only 15 when she released PH and I think the reason it resonated so much and created such a shockwave was it's production style and the way it dealt with topics of growing up and gaining fame. Ribs especially is referenced by so many artists today, Conan Gray being a huge Stan of the song too! Lorde means so much to me because incidentally I was also 15 when she was and all 3 albums came to me at pivotal points in my life and acted as a sort of comfort for the messiness and noise of life! Once again, thank you so so much for listening and enjoying and I await the deep dive with excitement! (And patience of course!) 🩵
