I've been a Little Monster for a while (though not as long as many in the fandom, since 2016) and it was such an emotional journey to watch this music video for the first time! I interpreted the shouts at the start when the beat kicks in as being like a challenge to the darkness, a war cry before they start dancing, the perfect foil to the end when the lady in red looks down, almost defeated, after seeing that the 'light' Gaga has managed to keep dancing, keep moving even with all the chaos around her.
