I’ve pondered that lyric for a very long time and I’ve settled on my opinion and that it’s an ode to Madonna’s highly controversial “Like A Prayer” and is a double entendre about devotion & sucking D. They both have similar themes with religious metaphors all over, and it fits Lana’s sex positive and cheeky, flirty lyricism. It made me giggle when you heard it initially and you were like “devotion 🤌😌” and my mind just goes “blowjobs 🤌😌” 😂 This is my favourite Lana album (I have a lot of fond memories tied into this album) and I’m gonna jump back in and finish the video but I’m glad to see you’re enjoying it, Val!!!

For a long time, Honeymoon has been my least favorite album of Lana, eventhough I always enjoyed masterpieces such as "High by the beach" or "Terrences loves you". But now I appreciate it more and more, though these tracks are still my favorite with "24" 😊. Lana is such a magician for creating so many different atmospheres in each album. Honeymoon is very graceful and cinematic, just as you said. Can't wait to hear more about your interpretations! Also, when you will be doing the live performances reaction (or just for you), I definitely recommend you listen to the live on BBC Radio 1. She sings three songs and these versions are beyond divine! There's no video but it is still worthing it
