Hi Val! I LOVED your reaction and analysis. It raised new perspectives for me, so I am happy!
There are so many details in the Shades of Cool and West Coast music videos haha, it is crazy. Still after watching them like ten times, my brain is still excited. Loved your theory about colors, I guess you will like Blue Banisters for the exploration of this theme.
Fire is something special in this album. It also reminds me of the "He's got the fire and he walks with it" part in the song "Sad Girl".
Thank you for your energy, I just love listening to you while I am at home, alone, doing my stuff, it feels like having a passionate conversation with a friend about something we both enjoy haha. Can't wait for the concerts reaction! Take care 😊

I love the Shades of Cool music video, it's so trippy and hypnotic, almost feels like the whole thing is little more than a dream or hallucination (which perfectly fits the haunting/ghost theme). It ties so brilliantly to the Ultraviolence clip which to me feels a bit more like a hazy memory. I've always loved how her music videos (except for Tropico and one or two of her later ones perhaps) aren't shockingly high-budget yet feel so rich and expansive.
