Watching this was an EXPERIENCE!!!
For some reason I totally missed the notification for this comment!! Sorry about that! Yes, I’m LOVING everything I’m seeing with Lady Gaga so far and I can’t wait to do more. I think I’m gonna try and do “The Fame” this week if I can fit it. Definitely Gaga coming up at the very least. ❤️❤️❤️

The way I tuned into your channel because you were reacting to one of my favourite artists, Lana, just for you to end up diving into the work of another of my favourites, Gaga, is a fantastic coincidence, but I'm absolutely not complaining. Lana and Gaga honestly share a lot of similarities, whilst their music may not always sound particularly similar, as they're both unafraid to address more sensitive or personal topics in their music. Your analysis of this was so fascinating because you immediately started digging deeper. Not everyone does dig deeper, which is part of Gaga's appeal to me, she explores some incredibly important themes, but in a way that does not compromise the enjoyment of people who perhaps turn to her music for escapism or fantasy. You'll see this at her concerts, where she tends to address the themes of her songs whenever she performs them on piano, but then isn't afraid to scream for everyone to dance and have a good time. It's very cathartic, and whilst I've already rambled on for a while, I do want to emphasise that it's for the reason that she is such a huge gay icon, because a lot of people in the community feel that they can turn to her music when they want someone to sing about them and their struggles, but also feel that they want a bit of the escapism that her avant-garde fashion and uptempo music can provide. I'm aware that a lot of this was not related to Disease in particular, but I just wanted to provide my view on why I found your analysis of this so riveting!
