Report - 25/September/2023 - Future projects

Greetings, everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic start to the week. After five months, I present a new report focusing on our upcoming projects.

This marks the third year of my journey in visual novel game development, and unfortunately, it's the year in which I've produced the least amount of content. Each new game I create aims to surpass the previous one, which entails a more extensive development time. With the firm goal of dedicating 100% of my effort to the games, I've decided to pause the production of Story-Sets, which will no longer be part of the benefits for our patrons. However, the secret images will continue to be a monthly reward.

I hope you can understand this decision, as there's a possibility that Story-Sets may return in the future.

That said, I'd like to begin by discussing our confirmed projects, some of which are already known to many of you, and also introduce a new one that joins our list.

As you can see, we have updated both the timeline and our games. If you had the opportunity to play the remake of "Family at Home," you would have noticed significant changes in the plot. The same will happen with the remake of "The Lécuyer Cult." These story modifications have led me to remove "Lullaby: History" from the list, as its narrative no longer integrates coherently with the new stories of the remakes.

It's essential to highlight that "Family at Home 2" takes place chronologically after the events of "FAH Remake" and before "The Lécuyer Cult Remake." Therefore, the plot of these final episodes in "FAH2" will be directly connected to the narrative of "The Lécuyer Cult Remake."

As you may notice, there is a game that precedes all the mentioned ones called "The Mansion." Initially, it was planned as a Story-Set, but it eventually transformed into a full-fledged game that now forms an integral part of the Mariposa universe.

"The Mansion" tells the story of a newlywed couple and you, who had planned a beach vacation. However, on the way to their destination, their car breaks down. Fortunately, an old friend from "The Lécuyer Cult" named April crosses their path and offers to help. She takes them to her mansion to spend the night while they repair their vehicle. April has a plan in mind in which she'll need your assistance, all the while offering you the reward of spending more time with your new stepmother.

FAMILY AT HOME REMAKE / EPISODE II - PART 2 OF 3

Next on the list is "Family at Home Remake." The upcoming update will continue the story from where Episode 2, Part 1 left off, with you and Grace searching for Venus in the laboratories to set her free. Here's a first look at how Venus will appear in the remake.

Once "Family at Home 2" reaches its conclusion, I will commence the development of Episode 2, Part 2 of "Family at Home Remake." I will do my best to deliver it to you in December.

FAMILY AT HOME 2 / EPISODE 15 AND 16

We are just two episodes away from the conclusion of "Family at Home 2." In the coming days, I will conduct polls for you to choose the content of the upcoming updates, including the addition of new characters. These episodes will continue to develop the storyline introduced in Episode 14, and it's important to note that said episode will be available to the public on August 7th.

THE LÉCUYER CULT REMAKE AND ORPHAN BUTTERFLY

Both projects will still require some time before their release, but I want to provide you with a general overview of both games so you can get an idea of what to expect:

THE LÉCUYER CULT REMAKE: You will embark on a journey to the Lécuyer mansion in search of your missing friend. Inside the mansion, you will interact with various characters, each with their own intriguing story to tell.

ORPHAN BUTTERFLY: This story unfolds 25 years after the events of "The Lécuyer Cult." In this game, you will take control of two main characters: Nerea Mckenna and Kilian Forestier. Kilian will be his father Aldous's right hand, and together they will work on the quest for immortality's cure. On the other hand, Nerea resides in her stepmother Ruth's house and lives with her two stepsisters, Belén and Ivana. Her story is deeply connected to Project Mariposa, and she will embark on an extensive investigation to uncover more about her past and find a way to protect her loved ones.

Through this report, my goal is to keep all those interested in my work, whether patrons or those who enjoy what I do, informed. I am pleased to share these updates with you, and I want you to know that I am committed to continuously improving the content I produce. I hope this report has excited many of you.
