VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE / PLEASE READ

Hi, I hope everyone is well.

Today in the afternoon, something happened that is so stupid and, at the same time, tragic for me.

I'll be straight with you and then tell you what happened.

I lost all my work related to Family at Home 2, Family at Home Remake, and future projects. The reason why this happened is so stupid that it makes me so angry, and I know there will be people who will make fun of this, but I have to tell you.

I have a three-year-old niece, and whenever she comes home, she always comes to my room to play; I was working on episode 2 of Family at Home 2 Remake, and she came into my room, and I decided to take a break to play with her. We played for a while until I got distracted by my cell phone to check some messages. While I was checking my cell phone, my niece went over to my computer and pressed the button to turn off and turn on the power supply of the pc (The pc was on because I was using it, as I mentioned before).

I realized what he had done seconds later and quickly decided to turn the computer back on.

The pc turned on, but it kept loading a black screen, I left it like that for over an hour, and it wouldn't fix it. After several reboots, it took me to advanced options, and maybe someone here already has a solution, but from what I researched, I was forced to restore the pc. I trusted to do it because this restore would only remove applications and reset the settings. The files would be kept, so I proceeded to do it (I took it as the only option because I didn't have a backup).

It took a while, and the pc reinstalled Windows, and I could again enter the desktop. The pc worked and somehow managed to keep everything you see in the picture above.

But I use the program Honey Select 2 and Studio Neo v2 (The program I use for the renders and animations and to create the characters). I uninstall it entirely, including the files.

All the characters I created, the scenes I made, mods, files, absolutely everything was deleted. This made no sense to me since these programs were not installed on the pc and were in a folder as if it was a Renpy game.

But still, everything was deleted.

All the work of the last two years and the future was lost because of stupidity and my fault for not backing up the critical files and not having a backup.

And honestly, I don't know what to do; I know it may sound easy to reinstall the program and create the characters again, but the feelings of FAH Remake were created by me (using cards from other creators). I started making the character models in September of last year, and finishing them all took me three months.

I subscribed to Patreons to access mods for the program, which are still exclusive to this program.

I don't have the scenes; I don't have anything.

I don't know where to start and do not know how to fix it.

I have to reinstall many programs and try to recover what I can.

I am unfortunate to share this with you because it is my fault, and you don't deserve this.

I know some people do not like my games, but a group of people also do like my games. I apologize from the bottom of my heart; I was so excited about all the content coming out in the next few months, but there is none of it left.

To remake the characters and make them the same as they were before will be impossible.

And as it is evident, there might not be any content in the next few days; I will do my best to fix this as soon as possible. So I will understand if you want to pause or cancel your subscription to my Patreon.

I'm a 23 years old guy studying Animation and Digital Art in Mexico. When I'm not looking, I do this; I create visual novels; I love to write; I love to make the scenes, the characters, everything. I love what I do, and I've never gotten tired of it in the two years I've done this.

And I will not give up; I will keep going and look for a way to solve this problem.

But for now, projects like FAH 2 and FAH Remake are paused.

I'm sorry to all of you who enjoyed these two games.
