September Work in Progress 2

Just getting up another WIP as I think a decent amount of progress has been made so far on the base frame. Engines are still pretty much blocking, as well as the rear of the base craft~

The winglets on the engines will be magnet slotted or similar, with a cover variant for just running the engines. And the blocking for the bomb bay, both variants will attach from the underside via magnets, and should be swappable between the two
The sensor suite at the front will also be able to be assembled with a few 5x3/5x1 magnets and should be a completely rotatable gimble, which I think is pretty neat too~ (as well as swapping between some brrrtcannons and just sensors.)

I've got a comparison between the Cichlid base frame and the current on the second image. I think every iteration I go through on this makes it look more "Aircraft-y" which is good, and overall, I'm quite pleased with the shape now so far.

Blu-tac, stickyTac or what ever you want to call it.(might not always be blue 🀭) Usually I find it in the dollar store or school/craft supplies, it’s that stuff teachers used to hold stuff up on the blackboards. Small ball similar to rice-grain, and holds exactly like glue would, you figure out your pose and then β€œpeel” the bluTac off like playdoh.

I have a question that isn’t exactly applicable to a vehicle release, but more about the mechs... I just started printing some mech kits, and can anyone direct me to some good tips and pointers on how to glue them into poses? Like, the actual physical method of posing them. Coming up with a good pose I can do, but I don’t know how to adjust and hold 40 parts in the right place and glue them all so everything is where I want it!

I'm loving these vehicles!
