My Burlesque Debut March 2018!
Added 2023-01-11 06:13:26 +0000 UTCFor today's Tuesday Tease I wanted to share my debut act! Instead of a quick tutorial or demo, I wanted to share my full debut act and over the next few weeks break down the elements I used.
But first, a little background on my debut. For Christmas 2017 I received a gift from my partner for a 6 week course at the Academy of Burlesque. He wanted to give me something that would allow me to express myself creatively that involved dance/movement and also feeling sexy! Before moving to Seattle I was a gogo dancer in northeast. I was fairly active and worked large parties. Seattle doesn't really have that same party scene as NYC, and my partner noticed the I was missing that creative outlet. I truly can't thank him enough for giving me something so perfect as the gift to express myself and be creative. It's taken us on some amazing adventures (even internationally too!). I'm so incredibly grateful for his support and love.
There's still a lot more to my burlesque origin story ~ I should put together a photo and video story for you all here. Perhaps a "Get to know me" series 😊
For my debut act, the song is "Confident" by Demi Lovato. The tease elements/burlesque gimmicks I incorporated are robe play, weighted silks, and assels (tassels for your butt 😘). Enjoy!
