So, okay. A couple of people have explained some of it so far, but here's my take on explaining it: Catra opened a portal during the previous episode (3x4 Moment of Truth). Before she opened the portal, Entrapta said "If my numbers are right, and they are, if we open a portal, the anomalies will be catastrophic. It'll unhinge time and space, creating a warped reality that will collapse in on itself, erasing us from existence. I never thought I'd say this, but we can't go through with it. " Because Catra pulled the portal lever, they are in the warped reality that Entrapta was talking about. The reality is collapsing in on itself, which would destroy the universe in turn, but Razz told Adora that there is still time to save everyone. And also, as someone pointed out, another important thing to remember that will become relevant later is that Entrapta told Catra that she refuses to open the portal, so Catra stunned her with the stun gun and had her put on the transport to Beast Island. Scorpia witnessed this.
