MH part 14: Finishing Drac
Added 2023-07-25 02:17:17 +0000 UTCDude, fuck Patreon. Once again, this is the second time I'm making this post. Right before adding the last photo, the app closed the new post window. No drafts. So I'm splitting this one into parts, because I'm scared.
I have this very cute strawberry fabric, but it's a bit to busy for this piece. I cut a bunch out, hit them all with fray check, and then cut them along the graphic. I glue them to a long strip of black fabric. I add a lace trim, the glue came through, so I painted it black with fabric paint. I then cinched the edge of the skirt directly onto the doll.
I place a chunk of white fabric around the shoulders with a hole cut for the neck wire. I glue it down, and cut it to size- this will be a blouse
I do similar with a larger piece of black fabric. I take the back half and glue it to the sides of the doll, cutting the excess. I pull the front half back, stitching it to the back rather than glueing it. Again cutting the excess around the waist and shoulders.
