Why Cooking Mama: Cookstar Went Wrong

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for continuing to support us. Our family income is still dipping, as we imagine yours is too, so it means a lot to us to know that you're still helping us. As we said before, please don't hesitate to amend your pledge if and when you need to.
We've been really busy in April. Kotor writes and draws for Nintendo Force magazine, and just happened to have a lot to do in the upcoming issue, both reviewing games and writing previews, so getting everything ready for the deadline last week was rough. In addition, Four-Year-Old Gamer is home from school all the time now, so we're trying to home school her while also get videos done, and that means going a bit slower.
The very generous Suger Joe reached out to us last week, suggesting we talk about Cooking Mama: Cookstar. We'd actually been considering this as a topic for a while, but weren't quite sure if it was the right time, as there was still a lot of speculation going around about what happened with this game's development. After Joe's message, though, we knew we needed to explore it.
This video was amended and altered right up to the last second. Just when we thought we'd finished it, one of the parties involved would say something new. This happened repeatedly, until finally, we figured we just needed to put it out there. We can always do a follow-up if the story takes more turns later.
Anyway, hope you're all doing well, it's probably time for sleep for us now.
