Hello lovely people of Patreon, BretonStripes here. I first wrote this post a week or so ago...and our dodgy hotel WiFi connection appears to have dumped it without posting.

So I wanted to share with you why things at Video Game Story Time have been a bit all over the place. My little sister died in October, which has been horrific. She was only 27.

Her passing was preceeded by my maternal Grandma only a few weeks earlier, and my Mum's older sister died from cancer in August.

There has been a lot of travel to see family and attend the funerals, lots of admin to sort out (because when you lose a loved one, you just can't wait to call their broadband provider and cancel it...oh wait. No, definitely not the headspace you are in at the time).

With this in mind, and the upcoming holiday/Christmas season where money will be tighter for many of you, please do not hestitate to lower or cancel your support to us this month if you need to. We really appreciate you all, but are aware we aren't on schedule at the moment.

We are hoping to resume a regular Friday video release really soon.
