IMAGO MERI CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT

To celebrate this year's ending we will be hosting a music contest between our patrons, whose winner will get a copy of the lekko + jasno instruments bundle from the Felt instruments company. https://www.feltinstruments.com/lekko-jasno-bundle

The competition is taking place from the 8th - 11th of December. 

Participants will make a one-minute track within the 10th of December, starting off from one of the melodic loops we're going to provide to everyone. 

When the track is finished, participants will proceed sending the .mp3 version to imagomeri@gmail.com.

On the 11th of December: 

We are going to upload every track in a specific section within our discord server, in order for the voting to take place.

Tracks will be uploaded anonymously, so nobody will be influenced by anything except for music. At this point, everyone (patrons and non-patrons) can vote for their favorite track, by using the discord reactions.

The most voted contestant will be achieving the contest's prices. In order to promote creativity, we are not going to assign strict guidelines, except for a few simple rules:

• be free to make whatever you want, but start off from one of the loops provided;
• deliver the track within the end of 10th of December (whatever time zone you live in);
• send the track as mp3 file to imagomeri@gmail.com;
• name your track file after your producer name.
• no producer tags are allowed to ensure anonymity  
• no collaborations are allowed (other than the usage of the provided loops)

Voting indications

•  you are not allowed to vote for yourself,
•  you are allowed to vote just for other producers tracks;
•  you can vote for one and only track;
•  your vote won't be counted, unless you follow the previous rules,;
•  in order to vote, use this emoji 🧸 

A little contest kit, containing the loops and some additional sounds for the sake of inspiration, will be released on the 8th of December. The contest will start then!
