In the canon story, Cassidy, Jack and Kelly shared a night of passionate sex at the Imperium to celebrate Jack’s birthday… but what if things had gone a little differently? What if the forecast was a little hotter, and that sunshine was just too good an opportunity to pass up?  

In this what-if scenario, Kelly decides it might be fun to invite Cassidy to a sunny poolside rendezvous at their home instead of booking a night at the hotel. She finds an excuse to get the twins out of the house for the day, purchases some special swimwear rather than lingerie, and tells Cassidy to meet them in the afternoon the day after Jack’s birthday party…

Cassidy slipped into Kelly and Jack’s house, closing the front door behind her and locking it. The last thing they needed was someone coming along and walking in on their… activities. The McDaniels’ were notorious for being very open and welcoming and usually left their door open for almost anyone to just come by. They didn’t want that happening today.

Taking a few deep breaths while leaning against the door, Cassidy finally built up the courage to walk down the hall towards the McDaniels’ living room. She checked her messages again and reread what Kelly had told her. Apparently, there was going to be a present for her on the coffee table that would help her give Jack his present. Sure enough, there was a small gift bag on the table, along with a brief note.

Get dressed and bring the bottle out with you. We’re having drinks on the patio. XOXO - Kelly

Cassidy set the note aside and looked into the bag, slowly pulling out a bathing suit. It wasn’t any sort of suit that Cassidy was used to wearing. It was a white one-piece that looked very thin and stretchy. Also in the bag was a jumbo bottle of coconut-scented tanning oil. She held them both, staring… her mind trying to process but getting stalled.

Kelly and Cassidy had discussed the birthday present they were organizing for Jack, but hadn’t gotten into the dirty little details. Only the broad strokes had been painted. She knew they were going to have sex, but how and where and wearing what… Well, Kelly said she would take care of those details.

Now Cass was holding the answers to those all-important questions. Her heart was pounding. Hammering. Threatening to burst out and run away. She sat down on the couch and continued staring at the two items.

Was she really going to do this? She could always just leave instead. Text Kelly and tell her she just couldn’t go through with it. Go home to Collin and make love. A lot of love. But… but she didn’t want to go home. As nervous as she was, she wanted to try this. To see what it was like. Licking at her lips, she said a brief prayer for some courage, put down the suit and bottle, then stood up and began to take off her shirt.
