First Read Recommendations

Good Evening!

I'm in the home stretch of writing Love the Sinner now, although it will be a little longer before I am able to share it with you: the commissioner will get a chance to make tweaks first.

This is one of the most frustrating times in writing for me, when I'm sitting on a really long piece that isn't quiiiite finished yet. I remember it felt this way when I was writing "The Wet Witch of the West" as well. Hopefully, this story is just as good as that one!

I'm starting to get quite a large list of work available online. At this point, I've written about fifty stories! I'm thrilled to look back on it all: it's been about a year now since I released my first story on Literotica, and it's been a blast.

But sometimes I think it might make my work difficult to approach. It's a massive reading list, and I cover a huge variety of different fetishes and plot types. I'm considering making a sort of reader's guide to my series, with a short paragraph describing each plot, a list of included fetishes and kinks covered, and a character portrait of the female characters in the story. I would pin it to the top of my Patreon.

One thing I like to do is talk shop with other authors, especially other authors whose work I admire. They will often (very kindly) offer to read through my work as well, and ask for a first-read recommendation. I've struggled to pick a story of mine that I think really sells my appeal as an author.

If I make this reader's guide, I'd also like to include a recommendation of a first read.

Here are some choices that I have considered as a recommendation of a first read. Which do you think I should recommend to people?

1) Cross Contamination part 1: The beginning of my sprawling 'flagship' series. Pros: many of my biggest fans like this series the best. Cons: This is the first story I ever wrote, and might be showing its age a little. Also, my opinion is that the best writing is later on in this series.

2) Sharing is Caring: The story of a man banging his asshole roommate's tied-up girlfriend. Pros: Currently my most popular story on Lit. Classic Maledom theme without too much of the crazy stuff that happens in some of my stories Cons: Not sure if it really represents what most of my work is like.

3) Miss Udders: A busty teacher is corrupted through hypnosis into serving her students. Pros: Well-liked standalone story that includes Faria, who appears in a lot of my work. Cons: I don't really have any other stories that cover the same fetishes. A little over the top and cartoony. A little long.

4) The Cool Mom: A mom is blackmailed into stripping for her son's friends. Pros: Classic Maledom plot setup. Short and Sweet. Popular on Lit. Cons: Blackmail is a turnoff for some people. Maybe a little cliche/unoriginal.

What do you think? Which story would you tell people to read if you were in my shoes? Which story would best give the reader an accurate taste of my writing style?

One of these, or one that I didn't list? Let me know! Thanks for the help!

Haha, I think that the fact that the poll is nearly a three-way tie proves this is a tricky question!

Miss Udders is my favorite piece of erotica, so that's my vote. You do make a point though that it's a bit more fantastical with the hypnosis and lactation (which is what enticed me, actually, but anyway). I would think Sharing is Caring is also a good starting point because it is another quick stand alone, which displays the themes of dom/sub and corruption that you often deal with. Cross Contamination is an amazing series, but as far as introduction to your work, it could be a bit daunting and the other options might have quicker hooks.
