An update and a Curiosity
Added 2024-05-20 02:25:16 +0000 UTCGood evening everyone!
It's been a long time since I released anything, and I can tell people are getting antsy.
I can only apologize sincerely. The reason for how long my next story is taking is its extreme length. In it's final version, it will be about 200 pages long. This is about three to four times the length of one of my typical stories, so you might think about it as if I am releasing an entire series all at once. It will be four or five parts when it finally makes its way to Literotica.
That being said, my long intensive editing process is coming to a close. After that, it should be a process of working out smaller kinks with the commissioner, then release. I should also be able to begin drafting Cross Contamination 11 this week as my intensive involvement with major changes to Commission 2 winds down.
But I didn't want to leave you all hanging with nothing, so I dug through my slush pile of outlines and ideas, and decided to pull out a curiosity for you all.
A few months ago, I had a vivid idea for an erotic horror story.
I know, I know. Completely out of my wheelhouse.
It was so off the wall that the project ended up semi-permanently moved to the back burner while I focused on my current series. But it still sits in my folder of unused ideas and might see the light of day at some point. Maybe a Halloween release? :)
This idea actually made it pretty far. I have a complete outline, and even a scene or two written.
Let me know what you think in the poll! Was this a stinker that I was right to shelve? Was this something you wish I would have finished? Let me know!
Outline (This is an unedited outline that I wrote for my own use, so I'm sorry if some of the ideas seem unclear or jump around a little!):
Scene 1:
Dante and Eva Caruso move into a new house. They are a loving young couple who are on an upswing in life. They are trying for a baby. The house was a steal: it is being sold at a rock bottom price as-is by the owner. That means an exhausting job of cleaning out decades of junk and fixing up the broken down fixtures. Dante is unfettered. He is confident in his handy-man skills, and the company he founded is going so well that he can afford to take some time off from actively going in to the office. The stroy of the house is that it has been haunted since the 1800s, but most recently an old man recluse lived there until his death.
Scene 2:
A mysterious force watches as the young couple enter the house. It is lustful towards Dante and coldly dismissive of Eva. It starts making plans.
Scene 3:
Dante and Eva are overwhelmed by their first day of cleanup. They deeply regret moving out of their old apartment before knowing the extent of the job. It seems like the old man who lived there was a bit of a hoarder. They decided that the number one priorities are the bathroom and the bedroom so they can sleep that night. Dante starts on the bedroom as Eva does her best in the bathroom.
Scene 4:
Dante starts cleaning and discovers a box of diaries and pictures. They tell the story of a young woman from the 1800s, Lenora DeVoe, and how she lost her true love young and lived with a broken heart. Dante feels deeply compelled by the story and the picture of the lovely young woman in the box.
Scene 5:
Eva is relieved to find that, while the bathroom is filled with junk, it isn’t foully dirty. The bathroom is cold and the light flickers nonstop, creeping Eva out. Eva attempts to move a heavy box from a bathroom shelf, but slips in a strange way and tips the box towards her. A large knife quivers in the ground next to her face.
Scene 6:
Eva runs, shaken, to the bedroom, where she is furious to find Dante lounging around in the warm sunlight reading. After a fight, she demands that Dante switch with her. They spend the rest of the evening working hard and upset with each other.
Scene 7:
That night, they eat pizza in the crowded living room, which to Dante feels cozy and safe, and to Eva feels stifling and claustrophobic. Eva is posting photos of their work on social media, but finds oddly that all the photos she took are creepy and all the photos Dante took are cute. She goes to bed, refusing Dante’s advances, but feels a bit bad about it. Dante stays up late after rescuing the box of diaries and photos from the garbage. The computer begins scrolling by itself through social media.
Scene 8:
Dante has a wet dream. He is dreaming of Eva as she was the first time they met, in college, when Eva was one of his friend’s longterm girlfriend. Dante can vaguely hear the friend talking in another room. The Eva in his dream insists on giving him a handjob, which is kinky because at this point she was not his girlfriend. In the real world, Eva wakes to find Dante moaning her name with a raging boner. She realizes that he is sleeptalking, and feels bad for refusing him earlier. She decides to give him a handjob because she feels a little bad. Implication that she is being influenced by the ghost. Dante finishes in his dream before realizing that there is something strange about the dream Eva. She urges him to find a spirit board in the house, and tells him where to look.
Scene 9:
Dante and Eva make up in the morning, but get into another fight over whether to toss things from the house. Dante believes that they might be valuable antiques, Eva is sure that it is all junk. Eva cuts herself in the broken hinge of an old spirit board and angrily tosses it in the trash, but Dante saves it. Eva is upset to find that Dante saved the old diaries she threw away. She draws a hard line: she wants all of the creepy shit gone. Eva leaves in a huff to clear her head. Dante hesitates. He wants to respect her wishes, but feels a deep compulsion to keep the ghost items. Silently, the door to the attic swings open behind him…
Scene 10:
The attic is the perfect place to hide things that Eva doesn't approve of. Dante feels much closer to the presence of Lenora here, and starts to believe. He finds a gorgeous, well preserved black mourning dress, and others items that belonged to her. He tries out the spirit board, and gets a message to return at midnight.
Scene 11:
Eva returns with Chinese food and explains her bad attitude. The vibe of the house is stressing her out. She feels an oppressive sense of being unwelcome and feels unsafe. Dante struggles to wrap his mind around this, because he has only had positive vibes. Eva says that Dante's focus on the past of the house, and talk about sensing presences has made Eva feel worse, and she just wants to clear out all the old creepy junk in the house and not hear about that stuff any more. Dante promises, and they kiss and make up as a couple.
Scene 12:
Despite his promise, Dante couldn't resist sneaking out of bed at midnight and returning to the attic. Following instructions from Lenora, he gets naked in the dark, lights a single candle and blindfolds his eyes. Exposition scene. Lenora explains that she needs the love of a man to connect her to the human realm, and the deeper that man's lust, the more power she has. Dante protests that he can't have that relationship with her: he is married. Lenora confidently proclaims that she can do more for him than Eva, and now that she has decided that he will be hers, it is inevitable. Dante runs away and slips back into bed with Eva, resolving to be done with all this ghost stuff.
Scene 13:
Dante dreams again, this time of his crush in the senior year of high school. One of the head cheerleaders. She gives him a sexy striptease. He feels guilty, because she is so young, but she reminds him that he was also 18 at the time, so its fine. She convinces Dante to start masturbating. He realizes that it is Lenora coming to him in his dreams. He wants to escape, but can’t control his dreams well. Eva wakes up and realizes that Dante is on the edge of the bed masturbating in his sleep. She has a strong compulsion to give Dante a blowjob, but resists. The bedroom air is ice cold, and she gets terrified and hides under the covers. In the dream, the cheerleader convinces Dante that even Eva wouldn’t say that a wet dream is cheating, and that he should enjoy himself. The cheerleader kneels between his knees, he feels her cool breath on his cock, and he blows a load in her mouth. Eva thinks she will have to clean up the mess in the morning, but when she wakes up, there is no mess
Scene 14:
Dante is cheerfully helping Eva to remove things from the house that he would have previously saved. He has convinced himself that everything was in his imagination. He returns to the attic to remove the diaries, photos, mourning dress, and spirit board. Lenora contacts him through the mirror. She is ravishingly beautiful, and tells him that she is getting stronger and forging a deeper connection with him every time they have a sexual encounter. Lenora says it is too late: with her deeper connection, she can discover sexual fantasies of his that he won’t be able to resist. With their increased connection, she can also now physically influence him. Lenora commands him to turn out the lights and blindfold himself, and despite his reservations, he does it, feeling the spirit giving him a cold but passionate kiss and pulling fleetingly at his hardening cock. She says she will see him tonight, but if he wants a real show, he should get Eva drunk.
Scene 15:
Dante, finding himself falling under the sway of the dominant ghost, gets Eva drunk, telling himself that it is a coincidence. That night, he dreams of a time when he had a brief one on one run in with a drunk friend of his mother’s. It is a seriously forbidden memory. The older woman orders Dante around, assuming the persona of Lenora. She orders Dante to eat her out. In real life, the drunk Eva can’t resist the posession from Lenora, and accepts the oral sex from the sleepwalking Dante. In the dream, Lenora makes Dante beg for reciprocation, then slips into a 69 position. In the real world, Eva sits on Dante’s face, but his cock is sucked by the spirit. In her dazed state, Eva can barely see the ghostly form.
Scene 16:
Eva convinces Dante to draw a line in the sand with the spirit and employ some anti ghost techniques she used on the internet Dante isn’t doing too hot ifor a few days. He feels empty and hates sleeping because of how lifeless his dreams are. Nothing arouses him and he can’t perform in bed with Eva. He starts obsessing over Lenora. Finally he goes to the attic and undoes the anti ghost stuff. Lenora appears to him in the flesh, saying that if he submits to her, she will grant him his darkest fantasy, which he can’t even admit to himself. Dante bows before Lenora.
Scene 17:
That night, Dante dreams of Eva’s sister Gabriella, the black sheep baby of the family who tried to seduce Dante once to get back at her sister. Dante has never been able to admit that he was curious what it would have been like to be with her in bed. Lenora tells Dante that he can explore sexual pleasure with any fantasy he wanted brought to life if he devotes himself completely to her. Eva is possessed to take the part of Gabriella in the sex scene, but is released just in time to hear Dante moan Gabriella’s name.
Scene 18:
Eva has left Dante alone in the house. Eva goes to the local historian’s office and asks about the history of the house. Lenora is lying: she is believed with good reason to have murdered her yound husband and then “lived in sin” with a series of younger men for years until her untimely death at the age of forty five. She is rumored to have been a witch. Also, there wasn’t just one “Old Man of the Mansion” it was a blanket term for a number of men who lived in the place over the years. Some of them were married when they moved in, but they all died alone. Eva realizes that they have been manipulated by Lenora. Eva hurries back to tell Dante. She uses all of the anti-ghost techniques that she tried before.
Scene 19:
Lenora presents a threesome with Gabby and Eva. Eva in a white wedding lingerie and Gabby in black. Dante realizes that something is wrong. Eva looks too real. It is the real Eva, mind completely possessed by Lenora. Lenora has been increasing her ability to possess Eva over time, and now controls her completely. She only ever pretended the antighost stuff worked. Dante says that they no longer need Eva, as he plans to give himself completely to Lenora so they can have real sex. Lenora is so delighted she lets Eva go. Dante sacrifices himself to Lenora to allow Eva to escape. They have passionate ghost/human sex.
Scene 20:
Epilogue: Dante is in perpetual sexual fantasy with Lenora. In the real world he is living in a messy mansion like his predecessors. Eva finds out she is pregnant, presumably from the Gabby sex session. She is determined to find some way to save her husband.
Opening Scenes:
The old stately mansion stood empty once again.
The body had fallen still, then cooled, then stiffened. It had taken a few days for anyone to notice. Not as long as last time thankfully. That had been a real mess.
Then there had been an interesting burst of activity. Paramedics. A brief police investigation. No foul play suspected. An unconfident verdict of ‘heart failure’ scribbled on a form and filed away somewhere that it where it would never be looked at again.
But in all too short of a time, a “for sale” sign was back on the lawn, and the dusty silence of the house seemed to stretch forward into eternity.
The spirit felt herself falling into stasis. She couldn't sleep exactly, but her thoughts flowed slow and deep and calm. She would regain full consciousness when a new energy source arrived.
She had learned patience in the long years since her death.
Someone always bought the house.
…
Eva and Dante Caruso had honestly never believed that it would be possible for them to buy a home. Even with Dante’s new job, the money just wouldn't work. Especially not where they were moving in California.
So Eva had naturally been thrilled for the opportunity when Dante had found a large house of a rock bottom price. She understood that there had to be some catches, but Dante was very confident in his handy-man skills.
The real estate agent on the speakerphone was making her understand why the house hadn't been sold yet.
He was droning on and on about issues with the house. Lead paint. Basement flooding. Potential mold.
The house was being sold as is, because the next of kin of the previous owner had no interest in clearing out their junk. So that added a lot of work hours.
Eva nodded her head and said “Yep!” To something the agent was saying about floor damage in the kitchen. It was a subtle code she and her husband had developed over the past few years since they had been married. They could both say “yes” and “of course” and “uh-huh” as much as they wanted, but “yep” was a signal.
It meant “I really disagree with this person”, or “This conversation is fucked up” depending on the context. It was a way to secretly gauge if they were on the same page.
This time it seemed that they weren't. Dante just gave her a pained smile and reached out to squeeze her hand. Eva bit back a pained sigh and smiled at the handsome, foolish man she had married. His swept back black hair, open friendly face and bright blue eyes made him easy to forgive when his sense of optimism got him in trouble. Her husband really wanted to make this work. Eva was willing to help, even if it seemed like a bad idea.
“Oh, and… uh…” said the agent, sounding a little flustered, “There's no elegant way to say this, but I am required to inform you that there have been some deaths in the house.”
Eva turned to her husband with a flat stare.
“All natural causes! Nothing to worry about. Very safe neighborhood!” said the agent, clearly nervous about losing the sale yet again for this property.
“If I could just have a moment to discuss with my husband and we will call you back?” said Eva stiffly.
“Of course!” said the agent, with a note of resignation in his voice, “take all the time you need.”
As soon as he had hung up, Eva whipped her head to the side, giving her husband an incredulous look. “For real, Dante? You want us to move into a creepy old mansion where there were multiple deaths?”
Dante looked uncomfortable but scoffed. “C'mon Eva! Don't tell me you believe in that sort of thing. It's not like there was a bloody murder, it's just because an old guy with a bad heart lived there before us. Don't worry babe, I will protect you from the spooky ghosts.”
He said the last part with a teasing twinkle in his eyes, but Eva wasn't going to just fold to his confident charm this time. “It's not just that, dummy,” she said, rolling her eyes. “You heard the massive mountain of disclosures he had to give. Who knows what's wrong with the place that he wasn't legally forced to tell us? Not to mention the multi-week cleanup job that he is implying.”
But Dante had that look in his eye again. The “I can do anything” idealism that made him so hard to resist. She had been skeptical when he had insisted on applying to jobs across the country, and then he had landed his dream job. Maybe she should trust him a little more… He raised his hands pleadingly. “Baby, I swear to you,” he said with puppy-dog eyes, “This will be worth it. It will definitely be hard work, but think about what the payoff will be! A great big house in a nice neighborhood for a steal of a price. Babe,” he said, twining his fingers in hers, “It will be the perfect place to start a family.”
Eva grimaced, then sighed, putting a hand over her face. “So you went out there to check this house out?”
“Yeah!” said Dante, trying to stop a victory grin from prematurely spreading over his face.
“And you really think that you can fix it up?” asked Eva, not quite believing that she was letting herself get talked into this.
“Of course!” said Dante with bright confidence. Eva narrowed her eyes, searching his face, but if he had any doubts, she couldn’t detect them. Dante wasn’t a good liar, and his loving wife had learned to read him like a book.
“Fine,” said Eva tersely. Dante couldn’t resist giving a little fist pump. “But you are going to move out there a week ahead of time and get that place looking better before I even set eyes on it.”
“Great idea babe!” said Dante cheerfully.
…
The small number of house walkthroughs barely stirred the spirit from her stasis.
She needed a long-term resident in order to form a real… relationship. It wasn’t worth her energy to engage with people who were only passing through.
But something felt different today. A slamming car door seemed to puncture the thick bubble of apathy that surrounded the spirit, making her senses stir back to life. It had been months. The old tree in the backyard had tender green leaves once again. The house was still cool and dusty and silent… but the for sale sign had been pulled up from the yard.
The spirit felt the door creak slowly open. The spirit had poured her consciousness so thoroughly into every inch of the house that floors and doors and windows were like her own limbs. A tall tan man with shining black hair and a well-muscled body walked through the door with a smile on his face and a suitcase in his hand.
The stale air of the house swirled around the young man and out the open door, and in that dead air, the lonely ghost twined her formless fingers, tracing over the warm skin of her next victim.
Young, strong, virile. He was perfect. It was lust at first sight.
Another toy for her to play with… and this one was very pretty.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm certainly not going to rush out and start writing this one right away. I can see the idea is a little devisive, so at most I would save this for a Halloween novelty story. I'm happy to say that, because I have a little downtime waiting for feedback on Commission 2, I've had a chance to start drafting CC part 11, and I'm having a great time with it.

2024-05-21 13:32:24 +0000 UTCI definitely like the idea of you branching out and trying different types of stories. Both this one and the previous idea sound really interesting. The only thing is that you've already got so many things lined up and I'd hate to see you burn out from taking on so many projects at once. Along the same line, you shouldn't feel too bad about making us wait, you're really pumping content out at a much faster rate than most writers.
