A Format Change and a Question

Good Evening!

Sadly, I've run into a little bit more trouble with the Patreon policies, which apparently I didn't have a good enough understanding of going in.

As it turns out, it isn't allowed to post explicit materials to the general public, they must be members only. I can only assume I have flown under the radar for this long because of the small size of my Patreon. This goes against what I was trying to do with this page, but policies are policies. If I keep posting as I have been, I can only assume that I will eventually be banned for repeat violations.

So I will have to change the way I post. The good news is, I can continue to post everything that I usually do, and people that are already members, whether free or paid, will be able to read my posts as usual.

There is a major downside though. Considering I have about sixty members and my more popular posts get up to seven hundred views, there are a lot of lurkers. And by complying with this policy change, lurkers will no longer be able to read any materials I post. My apologies lurkers. Please consider creating an account and joining as a free member in order to continue reading.

In the next few days I will be converting old posts to members only if they contain explicit materials.

One other question...

It was my intention initially to make my short stories Patreon exclusive. With this change though, I am concerned that they will be more difficult to read for some people. I don't want anyone to feel like I am pulling a bait and switch by promising one thing and doing another, but how would people feel about the short stories being timed exclusives? They would be exclusive to Patreon for one month, and then be posted on literotica. I'm not sure if they will even do well on LIt (they usually require some fairly good knowledge of the previous story to be satisfying), but I want to make sure my work is accessible for people who want to read it.

What do you all think? Would you be annoyed if the short stories appeared on Literotica after a set amount of time?

As always, thanks for reading

Comments

I think that's a very reasonable thing to do. The short storys would definitely bee some good ways to get new people interested in your writing.
