It's pretty good. It is Stealth focused, though it kind of ends up being more like a Puzzle style of game, kinda like VR missions. While the soundtrack is so good that you either chill out and get into the mechanics or freak out whenever the alert themes pop up - which is intense as shit.

Thanks for the comment, Andrew! We'd never considered the Eva sound in correlation to Bond themes, but you're absolutely right! Likewise, you're more than likely correct with the translation—we're just being sticklers and should probably move on to other discussion topics. Feels like we've worn that one out. Re: Volume, is it specifically a "parody" or is it just influenced by MGS? Chances are, we'll be tackling an "influenced by MGS" theme for a season in 2019. The parody episode is specifically for games that are satirical of the MGS style. Regardless, we'll do our research—not sure that any of us have heard of Volume. Thanks, again! Alessio

I didn’t realise how much the ‘Decisive Battle’ theme from Evangelion sounds like a theme from this movie. I suppose these movies had a big influence in Japan movie culture. That being said, I am quite certain that the controversial Kojima quote about Bond being the perfect man was just a weird mistranslation. The track record of Kojima translations is pretty abysmal. Also, hope you all talk about the game ‘Volume’ when the subject of MGS parody games comes up. It’s definitely my favourite MGS style in addition to the Deus Ex sequels. MGS VR missions style
