Raise your hands if you’ve been diving into our Goo Engine 4.3.2 update! The studio used its powerful new Goo exclusive nodes to create this short for Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage EN, and it turned out so good! Go download it now if you haven’t already!
Here’s what we’ve got for this month’s releases:
Our Asset Pack this month is the Seaside Tunnel Treadmill from our Wuthering Waves animation, “Carlotta vs Cantarella”! Read all about this asset here, which features an automated, infinitely looping road tunnel for you to test out!
This month’s Crew Animator Stream will feature Tony, one of our Animation Leads! He wants to ask YOU guys to vote on the animation this time, so head over to the Community Discord server to cast your vote! Will he animate some hand to hand combat, an Itano-inspired aerial missile circus, or a big emotional scene? It’s all on you now! Tony will be streaming in Discord on Friday, November 21st, at 8PM CT.
For the Professor’s Animation Review this month, the Professor has a personal request: he wants to see your best backflips. Our typical rules apply, and all submissions must be under 1 minute and contain at least one backflip. Go check out the post here for the full submission info and instructions. This stream will take place Tuesday, November 25th at 8PM CT due to US Thanksgiving, so mark your calendars accordingly!
October’s Professor’s Animation Review VOD with your “Heavy” submissions have been uploaded here. Thanks to everyone who was able to drop in and watch the stream!
If you haven’t already downloaded our earlier asset packs, such as our Cyber Prison Break Pack, the Whole ‘Lotta Cars Pack, or our two-part Screenspace Add-On Pack (Part 1 is here, Part 2 is here), now is a great time to pick them up and try them out in Goo Engine 4.3.2!
This month officially marks our 12th month in our Year of Assets! We kicked this off in December 2024 with our Makoto Shinkai-inspired asset pack, and since then have released some incredible NPR prototype assets, more than a few Genshin Impact-inspired asset packs, and even some original sci-fi assets, all made with Goo Engine in mind.
Thank you all so much for your continued support of NPR in Goo Engine, and of the content we create as well. We’re excited to see what the next year brings!
