Interesting that you two disliked this episode so much. I remember really liking it. That said, it has been 16 years since I last watched this episode. Perhaps the plot jumps would bother me as much as they bothered you two or perhaps not, either way I don't know if you & Vera ever plan on talking about BSG deleted scenes, but there are plenty of BSG scenes that were filmed & cut to make episode time length. Indeed, this is the story behind why there is an extended episode of Pegasus on the DVD release that is like an additional 20mins longer. Kobol's Last Gleaming parts 1 & 2 is the first episode I remember watching the deleted scenes & I remember 3 of them very well: 1) an extended scene of Billy talking with Rosalind about her plan to ask Starbuck to take the Cylon Raider back to Caprica 2) Rosalind talking about her newfound religious faith with Lee & 3) Tigh remarking to Elosha that it has been a long time since he read script & he asks her about why the 13 Tribes left Kobol & Elosha responds "One jealous god began to desire he be lifted above all the other gods & the war on Kobol began" which given that the show presents the Cylons as monotheists & the humans as polytheists was something that I appreciated a lot.
