The prince fell asleep quickly, without even trying to hug me. His breathing is steady and calm, but I can't sleep. I'm lying in a huge bed, looking at the patterns on the canopy, and I feel... disappointed. It was supposed to be my wedding night, a night of delight, passion, and new sensations.
