Added 2018-12-17 23:24:57 +0000 UTCAvalon, the soon to come fantasy area, is meant to be a place that evolves with your choices, and so too will the people within it. Right from the start you will be introduced to "The Arcanologist", a magic researcher who studies the rifts, as well as the fantasy creatures who have sprung up. They start out "mostly" human when you meet them, but your choices with him, and in Avalon will help determine what he will ultimately become. But there is one thing about them you can help choose right now.
The Arcanologist needs a name! I want to ask you what you think they should be called. They either need a single gender neutral name, or two names (one male, one female), so that they always have a name that fits them, no matter what they become.
The Arcanologist is curious, excitable, and doesn't shy away observing even lewd acts for their research. You are just as likely to find them observing the mating habits of kobolds as you are to see them helping a witch brew a potion. They are passionate about what they do and are willing to take risks to better understand the nature of magic.

2018-12-18 06:20:52 +0000 UTCOne of my original ideas was "Merl" for Merlin. Sort of like how Percy is Percival. I am hiding small arthurian references here and there, but Merl seems to... I don't know. Just didn't feel like it fit. Other "Merlin" based names I looked into were Myrddin, Emrys, and Ambrosi.

Darwin C. - Charles Darwin in reverse with just the first inital of his first name as his last name. Sambethe or Delphia for the female - Inspired by the many Sibyls of the ancient world. Adalove - Ada Lovelace inspired the name. Edits: Just acutally adding content instead of the first thing that came to my mind.
