MAKING OF! Ezio's Family - Assassin's Creed // GRISSINI PROJECT

I'm hoping it'll give you more context on how we produced this video, which was quite ambitious and came with a lot of problematic situations.
Everything was filmed in two days but the whole post-production process took a solid two years.
We had to deal with various problems and how to tackle it. Our capacity to handle problems is to my perception, what makes the difference between a fail and a video that'll make sense.

At first, the sound for the video that was planned was the quartet version of the sound. You might have noticed but you won't only hear a quartet! It as an unreleased version of Ezio's Family by Grissini Project Orchestra, live in Stockholm in 2021 :)
We thought that for such a graphic content, the very repetitive Ezio's theme could be quite boring. The orchestra is definitily bringing a lot of colors and entertainment!

We also had to redo the entire sound design when we realized the original sound engineer didn't saved his work when he fixed the sound design. The result wasn't satysfying and we had to start over from scratch.

We also had one person from the crew who crashed a car and decided to not assume his responsibility, leading to a 3.000€ penalty from the rental car company that we had to handle. The guy ran away. Normally we should bring it to court but it would have been incredibly time and money consuming.

Last but not least, the VFX were a very long process since we couldn't pay the VFX designers. The result is astonishing and we're completely satisfyied with it.

Some problems remains in the videos, we know it's not perfect but I think it was worth the wait and the care!
I'm hoping it'll remain as a little bubble of unique creativity on internet.
