Been diving into some newer features with Blender 4.4, namely light linking.
Light linking is so cool; you can establish collections to either be affected or unaffected by the light. Great for non-photo-realistic projects like this one.
For example, I wanted Squirrel Girl to POP on this shot, but didn't want to wash out the background. So, we just drop out set into the light linking box, and viola, done!
So. Freaking. Cool.
Been messing with Cryptomatte as well to isolate objects in the compositor. This allowed me to do separate color correction on Venom.
Having fun with the visual style here; still a WIP, but animating away as it comes together.
