Added 2021-08-20 03:21:41 +0000 UTCHello! I appreciate your patience; it's been a heck of a week. Those who follow me on other platforms know my apartment complex has had massive flooding. I spent all night wading through waist-high water helping people out (was even able to save some doggos who would have likely drowned in their kennel had they not gotten out in time... it was a mess; they literally swam out of the apartment!).
Gross water, I know, but look at where the water line was! Poor buggers.
Thankfully, I'm on the upper floor, so I wasn't affected directly by the flooding, but the power/internet here has been spotty all week, leading to some frustration and isolation.
That said, it seems to have stabalized a bit since yesterday. If you think this is going to turn out as a "sorry, I'm gonna be late" post, think again! Those who know me are aware I'm no stranger to all-nighters and frankly, I'm pissed-off and motivated. I fully intend to STILL get this thing out this month. I take the support I receive seriously, and I respect your attention, so I aim to deliver something special to you, on-time, and high-quality.
I want to share a final glimpse here just for you all (the tables are turned and Brigitte gets some action).
It's been tough to see people suffer here, but what's been tougher is the lack of cooperation from the complex. I've been going around taking pictures to document it, and passing them out so people can use them in lawsuits if need be. I'll save any future updates for Discord, as I know we're all here for the goodies, but let's hope for the best for the people who lost nearly everything.
Next time I post will be the release. Love and appreciate everyone here; stay safe (and make sure you have flood insurance, even if you live in the freaking desert, like me).

They're all lucky to have a neighbor like you. I hope the complex stops being shitty about the situation and actually takes responsibility and helps the tenants out... Also, great snippet!
