Minute+ Public Animation Preview of Brigitte's Gym!

  Here with a big 'ol preview of Brigitte's Gym for ya, along with a behind the scenes look. 

  SilkyMilk is Brigitte, and MizzPeachy is Sombra (first time working with Peachy!).

  It runs a tad longer than allotted time on RedGifs, so I've created a new folder for previews in the archives.

  Previews will be put here on a case-by-case basis (I.E., if I think they're substantial enough), but feel free to make a request if I ever put up a preview and don't include it in there. Sometimes things change between the preview and the final (ideally, for the better), so it might be neat to have for archival purposes. 

  The project is coming along! The tickle segment is up next (I didn't forget about y'all). I'm having a lot of fun with the aesthetic; obviously much brighter than what I usually do. I'm sure I'll get back into the dank and dark before too long, of course. 😏 

  This sequence gave me an opportunity to do some compositing work; after having rendered the whole animation, I wanted to make some changes. Working on the audio, I realized I'd like some music to carry-over from the prior scene. I'm a big fan of diegetic soundtracks, so seeing the source of music was important. So, I needed to add a visible CD Player. 

  While I was at it, I also wanted to replace the Instructional sign on the abductor machine to something more "universe friendly".  I disabled the characters and props (which massively sped up the render time), and rendered out the new elements. 

  This pic shows how these new elements were composited into an already existing scene (namely, we use an alpha layer to mask out our foreground objects). 

  I love compositing, and I recommend every 3D artist take advantage of it. It expands the scope of what you can do after having already rendered your main shot.
