MILKY - Shock Troopers (Newgrounds NeoGeoJam)
Added 2020-07-28 01:49:59 +0000 UTCNewgrounds are holding a NeoGeoJam for people to make art and animations based on Neo Geo games. i loooove Neo Geo/SNK stuff, though a lot of games from the Neo Geo feel long forgotten, outside of Metal Slug, King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown. i wanted to showcase the fantastic Shock Troopers with this recreation of a shot from the intro, with the curiously titled character "MILKY" shooting you right in the noggin.

yea, Tom Fulp is a big NeoGeo fan and mentioned in the announcement post for this jam that Newgrounds started as a Neo Geo fanzine! (NG - NewGrounds/NeoGeo)

2020-07-28 15:18:19 +0000 UTCI'm legit surprised that this is a thing Newgrounds is doing. I would be truly happy if somebody did something involving Top Hunter. I always felt like I was the only person in the world that played and enjoyed that game haha
