Status report/Next scene announcement

Hello everybody! I have to tell you something.

Working on "Virtual Sweetheart" has become really hard. The scene is so overloaded with stuff, that my VAM crashes every time when I reload it (and I need to do it a lot to check if things are working properly). Also I dont feel like progressing much for the time I invest in this scene right now.

That is why the next update will be the last one for the time being. It will include VAM launch support, a mirror for doggy and some other additions. After that the scene will lose its WIP status. Unfortunately I will not be able to add everything from your suggestions/ideas post. Sorry for that. I really hope you like the scene anyway though!

After the update is released I plan to start making my next scene. It will be about chains, ropes and other kinky stuff ;)

keep it up man is a great scene is the best so far .

Haha yeah the sweetheart is stuffed indeed ;) Performance is also one of the reasons, why I do not want to add more things to the scene btw. My cpu is also already sweating hard.

heh, the first thing that came to mind when reading a snippet of the e-mail that ticked in, was that you probably shouldn't stuff any more in that scene lol My computer is already at capacity, seeing as to it being NEARLY outdated(atleast the processor).

Thank you willmac!

Thank you! I appretiate what you are saying! Also I really like your question. The situation with overloading seems to be kind of inevitable, when lots of plugins and other stuff is added. Many plugins are in WIP status or not optimized for current VAM version and VAM itself is not super optimized aswell. Of course I could unload the scene, removing some plugins and assets, but it would not be productive. One thing I have learned from this scenario, would be to do all the animations first, before adding the plugins in the future scenes. That is the mistake I made, because of being not so experienced.

Yes, it's a really awesome scene as it is now. Great work

Honestly this is one of the best scenes out there, I think it's worth starting something fresh with your skills and letting this one lay to rest. I'm curious though, do you think this situation is always inevitable, that scenes will always get too overloaded? Or is this because you weren't as skilled before and may have loaded things poorly? I am not assuming that, more so just asking
