The Myth That Rogue One Shattered is now live on ArTorr!

Like probably many of you, I first watched Rogue One on opening weekend in December 2016. I saw it with 12 of my high school friends, the biggest group I've ever watched a movie with. Yet walking out of the theater that night, I stood alone from them in how I felt about the movie. You might not believe it after watching my video, but I hated Rogue One the first time I saw it. Yes, I was a different person than who I am today-- but I also lacked the perspective that would make the movie truly click for me. Nine years later, I do have that perspective; and I have it thanks to the behind the scenes testimonies and interviews from the creative team behind Rogue One. Through them, I found the lens to view Rogue One  for what it imperfectly is: a story about ordinary people banding together to fight their oppressors. Since deciding to make this late last year, the entire process of building this video has been a welcome reminder of the power of those behind the scenes featurettes and commentaries that swept me into the world of filmmaking as a kid. My mission here, as it has been since the beginning, was to preserve the deconstructive and educational aspects of those featurettes. I think it's safe to say we succeeded.
