Greetings everyone!
With the next update inching closer, I'd like to take the opportunity to discuss v0.14 and the imminent future of HoS.
As of now, the new update is looking to add around 100+ CG along with new story events that amount to 10k+ words. I am estimating the upcoming update to be adding around 30 minutes of playtime.
The update's focus has shifted away from fleshing out house events, and instead opts in advancing some of the underlying story to allow for stronger emotional responses from both, the characters, as well as the players themselves. Raising the stakes early on should build the foundations of setting up believable lewd events and allow for more convincing scenarios beyond those of the MC looking to mess around. Following v0.14, current plans are as follows:
December - v0.16: Sarada's introduction / House events / Story events
Q1 2025 - v0.2: Chapter 1 conclusion / Sakura's introduction / Path choice / Introduction to Level 2 progression of selected path
I'd like to remind everyone that working on HoS is currently not my primary occupation, meaning that these next few updates are unlikely to meet some of the expectations I've seen thrown around in terms of size/pacing given my limited time.
That being said, with the communities continued interest and support, early next year is when I plan to take the plunge to start working full-time on HoS in hopes of delivering better, faster and larger updates to you all!
