Weyland-Yutani corps' latest breakthrough was engineering a Neomorph variant that could be mass-produced for bioweaponry but unlike their parasitic predecessors; instead of killing its host, the prototype neomorph would be able to gestate inside a hosts normal reproductive system and be birthed from this womb without harm to both mother and spawn. The immune system and oddly cell repair rates of the host showed readings off the charts, indicating great health benefits for the mother in carrying the creature. Quite notably, newborns were also observed to be able to identify and demonstrate familiarity towards their human birth mothers, exhibiting protective and loyal behaviors in defending the host. This was theorised to be an adaptation to aid in the survivability of the mother whom in turn could birth more Neomorphs.
