Episode 1: "The Promise of the Red Umbrella and Fireworks"
Ame Aihara is hugging Taiyo Asano, who is seriously injured, and calling for help in the heavy rain. Then, a man named Kusaka, who claims to be a "guide from the other world," appears and says, "If you give me your heart, I will bestow a miracle on you."

Episode 2: "Macarons Are the Taste of Love and Dreams"
The first sense to be taken away is taste. Kusaka tells Ame that she will lose her sense of taste in about 14 days and advises her not to mention the miracle or the guides. He says she can only tell the truth to Taiyo. Chiaki, the other guide, advises Ame to be honest with him since losing her five senses is not as easy as getting over it alone. But Ame refuses, saying that Taiyo will blame himself if she tells the truth. After visiting Taiyo, Ame receives a macaron that his sister Haruhi brought for him. Macarons are a taste of memories that Taiyo gave her in high school, along with a certain "sweets word".

Episode 3: "Memories of First Love"
The "Nagasaki Lantern Festival" paints the winter night sky with rich colors. One of its specialties was "Love Lanterns," in which people could write their love wishes and have them come true. When Ame Aihara was in high school, she talked with Taiyo Asano about love lanterns and was frustrated to learn that Taiyo had a first love. Her grandmother, Yukino, advises her, saying, "What is important is not to be the first". Hearing this, Ame runs as fast as she can to the Confucius Temple in Nagasaki, which is about to close, and writes a wish on a love lantern she got.

Episode 4: "The Scent of Blue Spring"
February 2016. Ame Aihara, who is about to graduate, goes shopping with Taiyo Asano at a shopping center with a Ferris wheel to prepare for her new life alone in Tokyo. When Taiyo learns that Ame will be leaving for Tokyo the day after the graduation ceremony, he asks her, "Is there anything you want as a graduation present?" I asked. Ame is disappointed that Taiyo missed out on getting the second button for her uniform when she graduated, so she buys him a small bouquet of marguerite flowers that smell good instead. Taiyo asks Ame if they could make the scent of this flower the"scent of their memory"โ€ฆ  January 2024. Taiyo confesses his feelings to Ame but is rejected, saying he has someone else he loves, and returns home soaking wet. His sister Haruhi, Tatsuo Yanagida, and the other pyrotechnicians, who had assumed that his confession was successful, were surprised. Ame confides in Tsukasa Mochida, a city official, that the "miracle" is a rare disease that causes her to lose all five senses, and that she already has no sense of taste. Tsukasa asked, "Have you told Taiyo about it?" Ame replies that she has no intention of telling him because she loves Taiyo.

Episode 5: "Blame Everything on Magic"
"Forget about me already..."

Ame Aihara said this to Taiyo Asano before leaving. Ame, who has lost her sense of taste as well as her sense of smell, decides to follow the advice of her "guide", Kusaka, and confide in her grandmother, Yukino, that she will lose her five senses, and talk about what will happen next. However, when Ame returned home, she found Yukino lying on the floor groaning, holding her waist.
After being taken to the hospital, Yukino confesses to Ame that she has cancer. Yukino, who has refused to undergo chemotherapy because she does not want to be in pain, is told that she has only two months to live, or a few weeks at the earliest. Ame is in a state of shock. Yukino hugs Ame and tells her that she wants Ame to smile a lot while she is still alive.
Taiyo's father, Yohei, tries to cheer him up after being rejected by Ame. Yohei tells him about the time when he met his late wife, Asuka, and advises him that there are only three things a rejected man can do.
Ame asks Chiaki, the other "guide," to save Yukino with a miracle, just as they save Taiyo. But Chiaki replies that miracles do not happen to anyone and that they do not have the authority to grant them. Then Kusaka appears and tells them that it is midnight. The "hand" symbol appears on Ame's wristwatch. The next one that Ame loses is her sense of touch.

Episode 6: "The Feel of a Voice"

However, Ame was still having trouble adjusting to life with Taiyo. Taiyo asks Ame if he can call her "Ame" from now on. Ame, who is not fond of her name, replies that she needs to think about it for a while. While cleaning Yukino's room, Ame finds an old voice recorder. Yukino and Ame once used that voice recorder to record each other's messages and kept an exchange diary of their voices. Yukino's kind and warm voice was her most precious treasure to Ame, who was in elementary school then.
At that time, the hospital where Yukino is hospitalized informs her that her condition has suddenly changed. Ame rushes to the hospital. Yukino then asks Ame to take her home. The father, Yohei, had asked Asuka's parents to send them over for Haruhi, who did not know her mother's face. Taiyo was surprised to see it. The person in the picture was Chiaki. Meanwhile, Tsukasa Mochida went to see Haruhi and told her that Ame had not registered their marriage. Haruhi replies that she knows because Ame told her, and goes on to say that it is all her fault.
