Pandora's Box - The Rise of the Influencer Previews

Hey all. I know it's been a good while. Apologies - I've just been working away at episode 2 and didn't have any meaningful updates until now. It's quite the project. Luckily though it's near completion and I wanted to post some previews of the work I have. Like with episode 1, I have the intro segment of the video mostly ready(subject to change).

As discussed, the topic of this video will be about Youtube, Twitch, parasocial relationships and social media in general. The first draft of the video was looking to be about ~an hour, but I trimmed the fat down a bit and now it's looking to be just over 30 minutes.

The editing has been....time consuming to say the least. I picked up some new tricks since episode 1, both in editing and general filmography. I think you will be pleased with the results, and hopefully it'll be worth all of the extra elbow grease.

Just a warning, I would like to emphasize the little "viewer discretion is advised" intro for this one. This is not what I would consider a pleasant video. We will discuss subjects that are dark and disturbing because the unfortunate truth is social media is a dark and disturbing place sometimes(a lot of the times, actually). Still, for me, it's an extremely important video because it's largely educational in its design. I want it to be a video that everyone would benefit from viewing in order to navigate the world of social media more guardedly.

Apologies again for how long it has taken, but I think the increased quality will be worth the wait. I'm really going all out in this one. Big breaks like this I'm hoping won't be the norm though, and as it turns out I already have some work done on episode 3, but I'll save that until we finish #2 here.
