There might be some errors here and there, but other than that this is pretty much a finished video. Keep an eye out for some BadSeasonShow content soon as well. Merry Christmas, all.

Honestly I think their decline is the best thing that could happen to the genre - the fact that it's seen such a dramatic loss in quality imo is the result of holding the "monopoly" for too long. They totally rested on their laurels and took their fanbase for granted, assuming that they'll always come back. Happy to see some competition finally, as I think it'll breed better MMOs in general

2022-01-06 01:30:57 +0000 UTCLoved the video, I quit wow in wrath "for good" and planned to never come back. This changed later and I came back in cata mainly for pvp only. I never found a home like I had before in the early days of the game I just found a lot of people frustrated with the game. We took that frustration to Rift as a decent sized guild, then took further frustration (with rift) onward to swtor. Another disappointment. Hope the genre comes back , currently playing new world and I don't recommend it to any of my friends at the moment.

A downright incredible job detailing the history of the company and the World of Warcraft saga. I wasn't around for WoW back in the day. One of your older videos encouraged me to start the game in 2019, and I promptly fell in love with the world. So the video was a beautiful look into the history, but also sad to see the decline. Although, as you so poignantly pointed out, no king rules forever. :(

The best expansion, Wrath, is also the expansion in which the troubles began. As a positive, you get to make whatever video you want to make, not just related to Warcraft. I think that's honestly the closest we'll ever get again to old blizzard, and I'm definitely eager to see what they come up with. I'll be taking a break from the Pandora series for a bit(maybe a week or so) before I start deciding on what's next for it. Passion projects are fun, but definitely draining! I think I want to put in more work in BadSeasonShow for a bit. I also have the next potential MadSeasonShow video mostly scripted so I'll be knocking that out too.....hopefully this one doesn't take 4 months! 2021-12-22 14:25:27 +0000 UTCThat was a roller coaster. I was aware of most of the history but having it detailed like that was fascinating and a little sad. Blizzard was so good for so long. But, like a lot of big companies, short term profits instead of sustained success wins the day. They got theirs and to hell with the rest. Not to mention the complete frat boy environment that was allowed to fester and grow there. I am interested to see what comes of the many ventures that the Blizzard co-founders have started since leaving the company. Are you keeping an eye on that? If so and if the desire struck you, I would love to see you produce content discussing what you are seeing. I would hope some decent IPs would come from the minds of the people who developed the original WarCraft, Diablo and StarCraft games. As I have come to expect – awesome video. I assume and would hope a much-needed break and enjoying the holidays are on the schedule next? I look forward to what you will share with us in 2022.
