Early Access: Shadowlands Preview/Feature Roundup
Added 2020-09-14 23:57:03 +0000 UTCManaged to get this done! I'm not fully happy with it in its current form. It has some errors, I want to tone down some of the spice, and I'm probably going to cut out the covenants bit since it derails the video.
I have A LOT to say about covenants and even held back in this video to try and keep it more focused as a preview of the game, so instead of giving a neutered opinion, I'll just save that for its own video so I can give my full take.
Most likely that will be the next video, then a classic review. Today I'll also do that Q&A and post that within a few days(maybe tomorrow?)
I'm actually REALLY looking forward to the release. I definitely have problems with it, but I think it'll be a breath of fresh air to get some game time in with current, and hopefully a breath of fresh air for you guys as well in terms of videos.
Lets give feedback, report bugs, and cross our fingers that this xpac is a hit!

2020-09-15 05:04:15 +0000 UTCanother great vid mad (the ff7 battle part was awesome) but i wanted to share my thoughts on your part about pulltheripcord. i interpreted the trend as wanting to remove the abilities from the covenants, not giving people the chance to switch covenants whenever they want. this allows people to not only experience every ability their class has on offer but to give people the ability to tackle situations with different abilities. sure there wont be any huge punishments except for which transmog and mount you dont get and i dont think having a choice is a bad thing either but the problem arises when those power choices are tied to aesthetics and mounts etc. it conflicts with 2 different forms of character investment: looks and power. they dont work together as one package
