ISS New Year🎄🎄

Although it is not a full-fledged celebration with fireworks, the crew can decorate the station with small garlands, souvenirs, or even an artificial Christmas tree, which is compact and lightweight to save space and minimize launch weight.
The astronauts gather together for a festive meal, and sometimes special dishes delivered from Earth are prepared for the occasion. For example, in the Russian segment of the ISS, there might be traditional dishes like Olivier salad(Russian salad) or canned stew.
They usually celebrate the holiday according to UTC time.
During the holidays, the crew is given a bit more free time, although critical tasks, such as station management and monitoring its systems, continue uninterrupted.
