The scenes with Angela and Whiterose in that room are the best. They truly make you question the what is real at that moment. I love that a Commodore 64 and text adventure were used as well. I was also confused about the code deciphering Mr. Robot was doing since I know none of that lol. The music playing on the radio in the van when we first see Angela and the music playing as Elliot and Tyrell walk away is from Back to the Future Part 2. That's the movie he and Angela never got around to watching again.

2023-11-23 14:10:06 +0000 UTCYeahhhh this is how myself and a bunch of other rewatchers were communicating in Patreon comments for -months- with each other to talk about the reactors -without- spoiling anything for them. 😂 The RotX cipher system is basically shifting letters in the alphabet by whatever number you're specifying. So normally going through the alphabet 1-26 "a" is 1 and 26 is "z" by default, but if you're saying your message was translated with Rot1 for instance, then "abcdz" turns into "bcdea". So the numbers Mr. Robot is rattling off at the beginning of the message is the Rot shifted letter placement numbers and as he says at the end after he's gotten all the letters it's a "shift value of 13" so in this case the message he had got was a Rot13 message. I can't really speak to the "perrin erdos woods numbers" he is referring to -after- the cipher message, doing a quick look on wikipedia seems to show the "first" numbers which I'm sure is what they used for the show but yeah...that makes my brain hurt 😵💫 hahahaha
