Shark Bait Goof
Added 2020-12-01 21:53:43 +0000 UTCSo I was watching some films from 2018 to figure out which I might cover next for director's commentary, and at around 1:45 into Shark Bait, I noticed a huge goof! I forgot to cut out audio of Gabrielle asking if I wanted her to slide down the pole and me affirming she can go ahead! My character is supposed to have exited the room already, but even if the characters were talking, it wouldn't be in a cooperative tone in such a situation! That was jarring!
Sometimes minor mistakes slip through, but I'm surprised I missed this one! I usually watch every film at least twice after I've finished exporting it. I guess I wasn't in the habit of doing so in early 2018! I'm considering re-cutting it so I can remove that slip up, unless you all think it adds personality to the movie, lol.
Have you noticed any other major goofs?

Lol, yeah like that. I let some small things slide, like tripods or other equipment being in the background when I didn't mean for them to be there. It would be silly to get the actress back (after a lot of time has passed, in some cases) to correct one or two little shots. I just work with what I have. But the Shark Bait goof was so jarring it about gave me a heart attack!

2020-12-09 21:44:04 +0000 UTCYou mean like in Vore-Hog Day when Leah enters the motel room, locks the door, and the door is unlocked when she tries to leave later? Goofs like that don't bother me. ALL movies have goofs. Heck, The Shawshank Redemption (which is one of the best movies of all time) has goofs. I doubt it's worth re-editing older films especially for a goof no one noticed in two years. :)
