This episode was slower compared to the previous one but it certainly keeps your attention. Joanna desperate is not a good thing since she's already unhinged lol Also, The movie that Darlene and Elliot watch, The Careful Massacre of the Bourgeoisie, is not a real film. It borrows its title and plot from Luis Buñuel's 1972 surrealist film The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie, reinterpreted as a 1980's low-budget slasher film. The film was distributed by E Corp Home Entertainment, and is a VHS rip (Careful.Massacre.of.the.Bourgeoisie.1984-VHSrip.mp4) that Elliot has downloaded.

2023-10-14 09:50:04 +0000 UTCYes, Kareem is the guy that works at the place Elliot parked Tyrell's SUV after the hack. A stalemate in chess is when the person's who turn it is can not make a legal move with any of their pieces without putting themselves in a position that would be a defeat (in other words, it's a draw). Fun fact about ALL the chess scenes. Ray's and Elliot's was a famous pro chess match, whereas the ones with Elliot and Mr. Robot playing the 3 chess games, appear to be artificially composed games by professional chess players Sam Lloyd and Enzo Minerva. So ALL those actors had to memorize all the moves that were played in order. (yeah the show's showrunner -really- put effort into making things as authentic as possible and I loooooove it 🥰)
