Big Changes Coming

Hi, Horny Union adepts!

Cait here - since recently, I’m the Horny Union project lead.

First of all, I’d like to thank all of you for your support, despite everything! I know the recent updates haven’t been all that impressive or full of the content you expected, so thank you so much for believing in us!

When we just started making Horny Union, we wanted to make it a project many players would want to try - and something we’d genuinely love to play ourselves. 

Sadly, things didn’t exactly go as planned. It’s partly our fault for taking on a project that was too ambitious and aiming high - maybe too high. Partly it was just life doing its thing, as a few team members left along the way. The point is, we really couldn’t bring about what we’d originally planned. 

But… this is not the end! I see so much potential in this project and I'm not giving up on it! The positive feedback from you - our players - is honestly super inspiring - so we’re willing to try again and again to make Horny Union better.

Right now, we’re focused on fixing the core systems. We’ve started with refactoring the sex scenes, and the new sex scene system should allow us to build new costumes and new characters much quicker now.

Next up: we’re tackling the story, reworking the dates, progressions and the process of unlocking new characters (yeah, it really annoys me that they’re just icons on locations). I want our game to both have cool sex, and for it to be fun to play.

We’re also taking a long, hard look at the art style, and trying to figure out what to do about it. We love the art that we’ve got now, it’. It is also, however, extremely complex and time-consuming to produce, and we are now realizing that it’s going to make it very hard to do everything we want with the game in a timely manner. And I think there's still time to shift our art direction a bit.

Our artist has tried out something new - this style is much faster to work with, and this way it would be easier to keep the content consistent - but we’d still love to know what you guys think! In any case, I promise I will do everything I can to make Horny Union better with every update.
