[BUGFIX][GoT] Losing Tooth Visual Glitch Fix
Added 2023-03-17 21:28:28 +0000 UTC⛔PATCH 1.96.397 - EA has officially disabled the tooth loss system until they can figure out how to implement a proper fix for this issue (read more here) - as such, you should remove this mod as it is redundant after updating to today's patch. ⛔

This mod should only be installed if you have the Growing Together Expansion Pack!!
UPDATE - MARCH 21: I did some more digging into the XMLs, and it seems that only two buffs have the problematic appearance modifiers. I have therefore reworked the mod to instead override these buffs (I was anticipating a lot more overrides would be required, but this was not the case) to remove those modifiers. While I was unable to get the bug to occur in children myself, this update should in theory prevent the issue occurring for them as well as teens now.
Note that the same limitations will still apply however for sims already afflicted with the bug - you will need to either edit them in CAS or roll back the save.
Remember to delete the old version of the mod before updating!
This mod prevents a rather unpleasant visual bug that happens when a child sim ages up to a Teen while they buffs related to losing a tooth (which is a feature from the new Growing Together Expansion Pack).

Important Note - Please Read:
This fix is not 100% retroactive - if you have a sim which got a bugged appearance from this issue before installing it , you will still need to edit them in CAS and put them back to how you want them to look (or roll back the save to a point before you got this bug). This mod will simply prevent them going back into the bugged state, and prevents any future sims from getting the issue. This is of course assuming that no other buffs can be incorrectly applied to the wrong age groups to cause issues like this - if any crop up, I will update the mod to include them.

This mod edits the 6017e896!00000036!000000000004c346.buff_Lose_Teeth_Missing_Tooth_AppearanceModifier.buff.xml file
As such it may conflict with any other mod which also uses it.

2023-08-19 22:57:28 +0000 UTCI never had the bug until now on my child sim. Her tooth was wiggly and I had her pull it out. There was an option to fix, but didn't do it. Next thing I know, she turned pitch black. Anyone know of a fix? Edit: She turned back to normal after fixing the tooth.

2023-08-19 12:10:12 +0000 UTCHey! As long as your game is up to date, you do not need this mod as EA fixed it on their end. If your game is up to date and you are still getting the issue, it is likely a CC issue (usually CC default teeth replacements)
